Running Outlook 2010 in Parallels Desktop 5

Hey all -

I'm trying to setup Microsoft Outlook 2010 using a Windows XP install on Parallels Desktop 5. I got the entire Office Suite installed, but when I went to setup my email in Outlook it got to the Testing the connections and it passed, then when I clicked next it says that it encountered an error (not specific about the error). I've tried it multiple times and have yet to get it to work.

Any ideas?

I have direct access to my domain's mail server. However, until now I have been running Mozilla Thunderbird without issue for a good year or more, so I don't think the settings are an issue, but I could be wrong.
 
Also I have another computer accessing a different e-mail address on the same server with the exact same settings but on a native Windows Machine and it works great. I thought originally that it had something to do with me trying to use it on my VM through Parallels Desktop.
