I hope this is not a rehash, but I couldn't find anything about it in this forum.
I use a site (teach-nology) to create word searches for my class. With IE I can cut and paste into a spreadsheet to resize and format it a little nicer.
With Safari it doesn't work. The table pastes vertically, and it is practically impossible to fix. Many sites give me flocked up pastes (spaces everywhere and no recognition of formating or columns.)
So I just use IE for those kinds of things, but the question is why? Is it that the site itself is set up for the peculiarities of IE or is it that Safari has some fundamental flaw?
Whatever, I'll use the one for browsing and the other for plagarizing
