safari doesn't like apple!!!

This is very strange!

I can't even believe it myself, so I've spent the last half an hour repeating the process... (too much time on my hands today, I guess)

I've been working on various things this afternoon, as well as reading through macosx.com and a dozen other sites for reference...

When I try to log on to apple.com safari quits... every time!

No other site causes this effect - just apple!

Anyone else notice this problem too?

I'm running the latest version of Safari, BTW...

I've just tried it again - same thing!

It's never done this before - and I haven't been playing with preferences / installing new software etc. over the past couple of days...

Do you have the Safari Debug menu initiated?
If you do, then I would recommend emptying safari's cache (Debug -> Show Caches Window) and if not go into terminal and type this:

defaults write com.apple.safari IncludeDebugMenu 1
(or something similar, there is an application called safari enhancer that can also enable the debug menu.
