hello all, i'm using a G4 with os x 10.3.9, i'm writing down some information using 'textedit' and i'd like to save it to a cd-rw. How do i do that? I will be up-dating the information regularly, and would like to save the days new information on top of the old. Can someone help?

cheers

Easiest thing is the World.

Insert a blank CD-RW into your optical disc drive. It will mount on your Desktop.

Drag your data to the CD's icon.

When you have all the data you want to archive, drag the CD toward the Trash. The Trash icon transforms to a burn icon.

Continue. The CD will burn and verify.

You're done.

thanks for the responce...i have already tried that, but the blank disk doesn't appear on my desktop. What does that mean? Is there something wrong with the disc, or do i have to activate it in some way? When i insert a data filled disc it appears, but not a blank. Whats going on?
cheers

Check your CD & DVDs PreferencePane in the System Preferences (Under the Apple) and see how it's set to read a disc.
