Scanner driver

Hi!

I have a Umax Astra 2200 scanner. I'm looking for a driver which can be used on my OS X 10.2.8. Does anyone know where I can get hold of a driver. It really is quite frustrating waiting to run it in OS 9.

thanks v. muvh for your help. i've downloaded a demo version to try out and it works as expected. i'll give a couple more go and get hold of the complete version, unless you know where i can download a version for free – just a thought.

One free solution would be to run the manufacturer's drivers. The downside of this is that they only made drivers for os 9 classic, so you would have to run classic in os x.
Also, did you try to use the Image Capture program? Supposedly, it can capture from scanners (?) but it hasn't worked for me.

Heres the OS 9.1 drivers, if you want to try them:
