Hi

Im trying to get scheme setup for a class ill be in soon. Does anyone know of a working implentation for Macbooks?

MIT Scheme doesnt seem to want to comple even though my Macbook does have a intel proc. Havnt seen any success stories with it either.

Anyone have any advice?

As far as I know, it's not possible to run MIT Scheme in MacBooks. A very good alternative, specially if you're learning, is DrScheme (or its command line version, MzScheme, if you prefer to run it from Emacs). It's available at http://plt-scheme.org. Another possibility is scheme48 (http://s48.org), which is a beautiful implementation to look into, if you're interested in those things. Scheme48 can be installed with either Fink or Darwinports.
