Screensaver motion choppy

I have been running a non-motion screensaver since before I upgraded to 10.1.5. I think this is the difference. Lately I have checked out some other screensavers, as well as the one I was running a while back, and none are smooth now. they are all very choppy. Anyone know what the deal with this is? I have a G4 867 with 896 megs of RAM and a GeForce2 MX with 32 megs.

Thanks.

I have the same problem....but I don't think it's because of upgrading to 10.1.5. My son has an eMac with 10.1.5, and his screensavers run smoothly. I have a G3-300 DT with 768 mb of ram, and all the supposedly animated screensavers run like slide shows. I don't know what gives. I'm new to OS X....just loaded it up a week ago from 9.2.2. Other video runs fine (QuickTime, RealAudio), so I can't figure it out. I have never upgraded my video card, so that might be the case. But your system seems pretty hefty, and i assume your video card is much more powerful than mine. Maybe it's our monitors? I know these OSX screensavers run differently than on previous Mac OSs, but I'm not smart enough to figure it out yet. Any help out there would be appreciated.

I still haven't figured it out, and lots more is screwed up. DVD Player won't run, and I have the latest. It says my machine is not supported. And most of my resolutions are grayed out. I think it's the support for external monitors from my video card. I think it's all linked, but at this point, with 10.2.colming in a few weeks, I'm not sweating it too much. These things had BETTER be fixed with 10.2!
