screenshots of the login panel

I made a new user icon and took a couple screenshots of the login screen .. now I can't seem to find them. I searched using Sherlock but still couldn't find them.

You guys know where OSX puts those pictures?

in my opinion, a major security hole.

btw I think its possable to launch loginwind.app without logging out :)
 
Using Command+Shit+3 to take a screenshot places a file "Picture 1.tiff" on my desktop.

Always places them on the active user's desktop for me. Am I missing what you guys are saying?

Also, one thing to consider, if you're in classic, you will notice it places a PICT file at the root level of your machine instead of the Tiff.
 
we're actually talking about taking a snapshot of the login panel, before any user is logged in so it puts it on the root desktop. after you are logged in as a user though, it will put the snapshot on your user desktop.
