Anyone have issues installing SCSI and IDE drive at the same time in a beige mac?

Thinking about running a 9.1gb WD SCSI as the OSX drive (boot with it also) and using the 30gb WD as a storage drive.

Didn't see much in the FAQ or in the past articles.

I presume you want an internal IDE drive and an external SCSI drive, because that's the typical setup. On a beige Mac, you need to know if you can install an IDE drive internally, since it already has IDE and SCSI buses. You have to look in the System Profiler to determine which revision of beige G3 you have (I'd tell you how now but I am on a PC at school and don't have access to my Mac at home. I believe it will say Gt-A or something similar in the native graphic card's info in Devices and Volumes.) www.xlr8yourmac.com has a good tutorial on installing an IDE drive internally on a beige G3, and they tell you how to determine which revision you have. You should have no trouble running both kinds of drives at the same time.
