Seagate and Powerbook G4

I bought a Seagate external hard drive to backup files from my PC when I purchased a refurb. powerbook G4.

Up until this point there was no problem with opening the hard drive on my MAC.

This morning when I plugged it in I had three options....ignore, eject or initialize.

I think I might have unplugged the drive from the USB ports before ejecting on the desktop thus corrupting the files.

Anyone know how to recover the external hard drive?

I was thinking Disk Warrior...but don't want to shell out 80 bucks.

DiskWarrior is an absolute must have. Unless you like losing data.

The only thing is you said you bought it to back up your PC, so it is probably in one of the Windows' hard drive formats. I doubt any Mac utility will touch it. You'll need to get a Windows rescue utility, not an area I have much experience in.

Ask a PC friend or hunt on the Net. I gather you know how to "find" things? ;-)
