security update for panther released

I got Panther today (finally! :D), did a clean install and I got the following updates show up in Software Update (not just the security update) :

2003-10-28 22:07:54 -0800: Installed "Hard Disk Update" (1.0)
2003-10-28 22:08:03 -0800: Installed "iPod Software" (1.3.1)
2003-10-28 22:08:23 -0800: Installed "iSync" (1.3)
2003-10-28 22:08:33 -0800: Installed "iTunes" (4.1)
2003-10-28 22:08:38 -0800: Installed "Security Update 2003-10-28" (1.0)
 
Did you guys know, that my current 7B74 worked with that update too? I started software update and et voila.. there it was. I got a bit surprised about this. Thought there is a build-request that decides whether there will be access to new updates or not.
 
depends on the update. you won't be able to update to 10.3.1 from that build, of course, but you'll still be able to get updates to iApps and maybe some security updates, because they only involve separate software packages they replace.
 
I will wait and see if I can get 10.3.1 on my 7b74. ;) Eventhough Fryke sais no... I guess it won't take so much time till I will find out
