I have an iMac running osx 10.2.3 connected to a windoze network. I can access the web thru the network and access all the PC drives.
I dont though seem to have much luck with resolving domains. I cant ping local domains, but I can ping their IP addresses.
I dont know exactly what the problem is, but I know its got something to do with the dns in some way, or the windows WINS file..
I need to connect to the company's intranet, which is running on IIS.. Though I can do all the above( share discs, surf the web) through the network, I cant access the intranet. It gets a bit awkward at this part as to get on to the intranet I'd need to log in as a user, and Ive no idea where to start.
Can anyone help?
thanks
