sense there are no rumors i would just like to get some gernal information from you guys.... i just want to know what you all want the most from apple with in the next year, be it a 2.0 ghz G5 or a PDA, what ever.

Personaly im waiting for the dual G5 and the DDR boards. coupled with a new 23 inch flat pannel .... ooo i would sell my soul for something like that.....
 
My favourite rumour at the moment is the digital camera based on iPod hardware. No flash cards, just a whopping 5 or 10 gig hard drive. Firewire, of course, and neatly synchs with iPhoto, iMovie and Quicktime.

actually, I'm happy with the cams I have. I can put the photos on my iPod if i want or presentations or whatever (especially now with my 10Gig drive I'm getting- got it engraved too...ooooo). I don't need the iPod to take the pix.

I would just like Apple's idea of "digital Hub" to come to life. Seamlessly run everything in my home from my mac (or a handheld device controlling the mac).

Something I've wanted for a long time and they have fixed it to a point is advertising. Apple commercials are like halmark because when you see it you smile yet they are never played. The hard part is done, the idea is made but they just need to get them out there. Find the target audience and shoot. Right now I'm thinking piggy back TV commercials with Buffy because It's hot, she's hot and they use Macintosh in that show! In the next year I want Apple to get the brand recognition out there. We know it's cool to own a mac, but does anyone else? nope.

Along with that they could hype the prices of the outdated computers more, as most people will be perfectly happy with a 500 mhz imac that they paid 300 dollars less for.

You know what I'd like?

I'd like AppleWorks 7.0 or 6.5 - notable features? Spellcheck on the fly.

I want to see a G4 "classic" Imac, for the the low-end market. Furthermore, I'd like to see room for a 2nd optical drive in the Mac.

Better yet, a "Barebones" Mac - processor, operating system, Mobo, but no HD, no vid card, etc...
