Sent mail with Mail.app and .Mac

I use a .Mac account with Mail. app. That's my only email address. It's set up as a .Mac account.

When I send mail from my Mail.app at home it places sent mail in the special "SENT" folder - the one that looks like a paper airplane and has subfolders for "On my Mac" and ".mac" under it.

But, when I send mail from the web interface from work (on a PC with Win98) ... and then when I come home and start up Mail.app ... those sent messages are kept in a folder (regular blue folder) that it creates automatically called "Sent".

Why won't it kept sent mail in ".mac" in the regular Sent folder? I don't want two Sent folders!

Plus, my Sent mail that I send from Mail.app from home is never available to me on the .Mac webpage, either. (I don't think Deleted is either) Should it be?

Mail and .mac webpage are 2 different things. Webmailpages generally don't store Sent mail.

Well, if the webpage doesn't save my Sent mail, that's OK.

But can I at least get Mail.app to save mail Sent from the web interface in the same folder that it saves mail Sent from Mail.app?

Your mac.com webmail, sending mail from the web page, will save all sent mail. Just setup the Preferences on the web page to save. This will not be available on the Mail program on the computer. You can have a sent folder on the computer that will show sent mail from the web page and vice versa.
