Hi,
I have a network that runs on Active Directory, and a room full of PowerMacs that are connected to the AD. I also have an XServe that has 2TB of storage specifically for this room (a media room).
What I want to do is have the macs authenticate users against active directory, but not use the normal home drive/profile specified in AD, instead using a home directory hosted on the XServe. Do many people do this, have separate home directories for Windows and Mac OS clients? What's the best way of doing it?
Thanks.
