Hello helpful people.
I need some help with navigation on my website. I've been using Dreamweaver MX and have (well, sort of!) a front page set up which calls my php into a particular div element on the front page.
However, what I need to know is how to link other pages into this div element so that they show up on the front page and not in a new window.
For example, my front page is located here:
http://cgi.marginwalker.plus.com/halo/index.php
It shows the main category of news (I'm using cutenews php). When I click on one of the global links, for example the 'flotsam & jetsam' link, I'd like this to load the flotsam.php page in place of the main news on the front page. (I gather once I know how to do this I will be able to strip erroneous code out of the flotsam.php page because at the moment it still shows the div elements on the right hand-side of the page.
I know how to do this navigation with frames but I still have a lot to learn about CSS, as you will no doubt tell me when you laugh at the page!
I really hope somebody can help as once I know this I can get cracking with all of the other links. Thanks in anticipation,
MT.
