Is it possible, to convert/export microsoft exchange server information/mailboxes from a windows 2000/2003 machine to an OSX server open directory machine and work?

has anyone attempted such issue? and if anyone hasn't, have they done anything different to get the data over or possibly convert/move the data or copy/re-work the data somehow?

(reason I ask, is because I would like a more stable solution in the office i manage, windows = buggy)
 
You want to clone of Exchange running on MacOS X Server? Exchange is a proprietary Microsoft product designed to lock-in customers and to give everyone else fits. Why not use the open standards-based facilities which are part of MacOS X Server?
 
thats what I want to do.. is use mac osx open directory and mail xchange built in. BUT, what i"m asking is, can I take windows based mail xchange information and convert it to mac osx somehow? like an alternative solution kinda thing?
