Setting execute permissions with Finder

I need to set execute permissions on certain files with Finder. Is this possible or do I need to use chmod?

Yes to both. Open Terminal, start the command "chmod a+x ", drag in the first file, and press Return. Repeat for each.

If you've got to set a bunch, you could probably use BatChmod.
