I like to use the Finder windows in Column (list) mode. However, many windows don't come up that way by default (rather in Icon mode). Also, I like to use the type and size columns and they are never visible when a window first comes up so I am resizing the windows all the time. Is there some way to set the widths of the columns for default? Is there a way to re-order the columns (that would be very cool)?
