i need help for the following: i just bought and installed a wireless router by asus, the model is wl-600g.
i chose it because it has an integrated print server, through which i've been trying since days to set up a connection to my epson printer (the model is epson stylus c84). the printer was already installed on my mac (a powerbook g4 with os x 10.4.1) and it worked fine.
i've tried adding an ip printer from the system preferences --> print but i couldnt find good instructions anywhere...this is what i did:
protocol - lpd
address - 192.168.1.1
queue - LPRServer (as in the router's manual)
now, i can see the printer on the router's control panel, it says status is online, but when i try to send a document to the printer nothing happens, and the print queue gets stalled.
i would really really really appreciate your help.
