Sharing Mac PC

I am trying to share a Mac and PC on a LinkSys router. I have followed the instructions for both PC and mac but no luck. The Mac sees the Pc but the PC doesnt see the mac. Also when I click on Network on the Mac it says PC, and when i click ont he icon it says that alias is not accesible. Any ideas? Feel free to email me at JesterFilms3@yahoo.com

Turn all computer firewalls off, and use only your router firewall. Try finding your Mac by adding a network place on the PC--using your Mac's IP address. Enable Windows Sharing on your Mac. Using the Directory Access utility, be sure the SMB line is check. Also, double click on this line and make your Mac workgroup the same as your PC. Be sure you have shared a folder on your PC; I recommend My Documents. If these things don't help, then post back and let us know what all you have tried--besides them.
