I have only recently updated to Mac OS X, and have the latest update (10.1.3) I have never been able to get Sherlock to work since I upgraded to OS X.
This happens whether I start up on normal or classic mode.
I have been using Macs since OS 6, and whilst I have never had a crash or a freeze since I upgraded to OS X, I find it much slower loading web pages.
I currently have 3 Macs in use, the all in one black Mac, 5500/250 with TV and Radio Tuner; a Graphite G3 Mac DVD SE, and the Mac I'm writing this, one of the original Titanium 500Mhz G4 Power Books.
