I don't know what it was about previous versions of Sherlock but it never seemed very useful. I don't know if it was the UI, lack of content or overall confusion I had about what exactly Sherlock was supposed to be used for.
Needless to say I'm totally into the newest version of Sherlock that ships with Jaguar. It has everything I commonly used on the net, eBay, stocks, movies, dictionary and so forth in one tight, easily manageable package.
No longer do I have to go to a dozen different websites to find the functionality Sherlock offers with just 1 click.
It's a beautiful thing and has earned a place on my Dock. If anyone has seen my desktop before, they'd know this is a big thing, (my Dock typically consists of about 4 removable icons). All the refinements Jaguar offers are just what the doctor ordered.
