After 4 months of aqueing with a band in the us i have been forced to change my website name. (it was inverted logic)

Well i took the time to create a new layout, one that didnt take so long to load on 56k.


its located here http://www.browni.tk

at the moment its a 'aqua pinstripe' look. Im concering tryin to do a brushed metal look or a Panther look. Is this worth it, can it be done?

First thing I have to point out is that it's 'An Unformatted Disk"! ;)

Not a bad rendition of an Aqua style, though I'm not fussy on people using it (since I seem the damn thing all day long on my Mac anyway :p )

Links work well, I reckon you need more of an impact on your home page though.

Well, the home page just doesn't have the feel of a home page, it's similar to the rest. Maybe a bolder/bigger/fancier heading or image?
 
so somthing like the image attached?

Or have i got the wrong end of the stick?

Worth making a flash intro?

Yes, that's a step in the right direction me thinks ;)

I think what fazes me is that the friends links seem to be the most prominent thing on the page (if this is meant to be the case then fine)... maybe more info about yourself on the home page? Less prominence given to the Friends links (maybe make them a separate page?)
 
perhaps amagimate the about me page and the home page? then add the friends links on a seprate page? but isnt this reducing the amout of contnet on the site?
 
Well, you could mix the Home with the About Me, if, you take the contact form from the About Me page and make it a separate Contact page.
 
i like it , by the way im not sure if the contact form works, its a mailto link in a form is this right. thanks for your feedback

Ive resolved the contact page with a tag board feature. this way i can see whos talking. i need a way to advertise the site any ideas?
 
Well you could make a nice 80x30 pixel banner for your site and give it to your friends to put it on their site. Oh and beg webmasters of larger sites to put it up of course. :D

That logo doesn't look good small. It's really hard to read it with all the effects going on in it. I'd work on that.
