skype usage on power G4 Dual

i wish to use non visual skype.
i have a power mac g4 dual 1.25 ghz (ddr-mirror door). i understand it is not simple to find a compatible headset (earphones with integral microphone) for this mac. what is the solution?

system: mac osx 10.4.11

An older version of Skype should work for you.
http://mac.oldapps.com/skype.php?old_skype=37 try 2.8 - anything from 2.0.3 to 2.anything you can still find is worth a try.

If I remember correctly, headsets should work quite directly with Skype even if being headphones+microphone sets on older systems too. Can you try 2.8 and see if it'll work out of the box for you?
