Twyg, the 100mA for the keyboard is used to power the built-in 2 port USB hub (for bus-powered devices).
It was a real pain when the hub in one of my G4 keboards broke and it kept telling me that tere wasn't enough power on the bus to power the keyboard haha (but it was just the hub that wasn't getting adequare power).
That's what happens when people drink around the terminals!
