Slow broadband speed

I've set up a wireless broadband network and I'm getting comparable dial up speeds.

As I'm an OSX virgin I'm unsure how to set up the network settings.

Any help on what I should be doing would be much appreciated!

Did you test what's your upload and download speed? search for a fast site and try a download.

Maybe you can use a utility like BroadbandOptimizer X that you can find here:
