Slow Safari!

I use to think that Safari was so fast compared with with IE & Netscape using my dial up modem connection. (cant get broadband)

However it now seems to be slower than the others to load pages and now regularly fails to load up at all, just sticking halfway through a page.

I'm using the public beta version 6, anyone had similar problems, i've tried the usual tricks of clearing the cache & history and restarts but it still goes slow?

for me it has always felt slow. or Chimera / Camino has always felt faster, even the unboosted version of it.
Links is fast too.

Dennis, try trashing the Safari prefs. I found that helped on some things like that.
