I have a Beige G3 DT/400MHz running Jaguar. I purchased the above Ethernet PCI card because it was supposed to be supported by OS X 10.2. I d/l'ed the driver and installed it but I can't get the Network System Preferences to even see the card (only the Built-in Ethernet shows up). This card shows up in ASP Devices and Volumes but not the System Profile/Network Overview. ifconfig -a does not show it (it only shows en0 - the internal 10 MB ethernet).
I have moved this card to each of the three PCI slots to no avail, resetting the CUDA each time. I reset the MB as well as PRAM also w/o success. I contacted SMC but they haven't been of any help. Can any of you help or provide suggestions?
If I can't get this card to work, do any of you know of a 10/100 card that DOES work w/ Jaguar on a Beige G3 DT? TIA for any help.
