You know how you can put folders (such as Utilities) in the Dock for quick access? Every time I do that the icon of the folder shows whatever is first in that folder. For instance, Utilities in the Dock shows the Activity Monitor icon in the Dock because that's the first app in my Utilities folder. My question is....... Is there a way to change the icon so it shows up in the Dock as the Utility folder icon? Same with my Documents folder? Right now it's showing a PDF icon because that's the first thing in my Documents folder. I would like to just have it show in the Dock as a regular Documents folder icon.
I know in Panther you can just click on a folder and click Apple + i and you could copy the icon from there and paste it onto whatever you wanted to change the icon on. But apparently that doesn't work with Snow Leopard. I tried it and it just goes back to the same thing when I put it in the Dock again.
Is there a way to do this?
