Okay, this is even more far out than my last post about Colorsync profiles. I have a Socket Communications Digital Phone card. It's a Compactflash card on one end, and the other plugs into my mobile phone. I convert the CF card to PC card with an adapter, and plug it into my PowerBook G4. Only problem is, there's no software for OS X for it. Their website provides an installer for a driver for 8.6 and higher, but running it loads classic environment and the Modem profile "CDMA Handset" is only available in OS 9. It works too. So here's the question: Is there anyway to get that CDMA Handset driver into X, or would Socket need to write a whole new driver for it? Thanks in advance. Don't do drugs.
