Software Update Server on Mac OS X Server

Hey, all,

I accidentally left that service running - and it caused my machine to get loaded with a bunch of mirror'd images of software packages. I've since turned the service off - but can't find where it places all the packages that it mirror'd. Can anyone direct me to where these reside so that I can remove them and recover my disk space back?

Many thanx!

On my system it's /usr/share/swupd/html. I think it's safe to discard everything in there. (Famous last words)

that has the pointers to the html files and what not - but that directory doesn't hold the actual downloaded packages - even after I removed that, my disk is still 88% full - so still need to find where they hid those damn packages! :(

Hmmm. As of 7/4, mine contains 5 gb. I mirror the whole load - I don't have time to pick and choose and manage it by hand.

It appears that 27G (of the 40G drive) was being used by this directory:

/var/log/samba

I don't remember starting a samba server - maybe software update server starts up one to manage it's affairs... don't know - all I do know is that I had to remove the .old file to recover my hard disk space...

thanx for your help...
