Some Hints for the Panther Forum...

1.) Use 'search' before opening a new thread. The whole forum is about Panther, so the probability that someone has asked the same question before you is quite high.

2.) If you have a problem with some feature of Panther, also tell us which build you're using and whether you did a clean install, upgrade install or archive and install when installing Panther.

3.) Don't ask for sources where to get Panther. There is _ONE_ source: Apple. Become an ADC member (select or premier) and get your seed access instructions as well as monthly beta seeds on CD. [We are well aware of the fact that Panther builds are going to make the rounds on the usual 'warez' systems. But we don't talk about it here. Board rules and common sense.]

Now let's have fun with the next great operating system from Apple!

1st of all, welcome here! :)

Search overall, here in www.macosx.com gives you that error and not only for Panther forum :D

The problem is using the "G3" in your search...

Try to actually Think Different while using the search function here ;)

What exactly are you looking for? Do you want to see whether your G3 is compatible? That's easy. If it came with an internal USB port installed and has 128 MB of memory at least, then Panther is supported. If not, not.
