Some (minor) problems...

Unofficial Mac Genius
Some weird problems I've been having with various things in Mac OS X (a couple specifically with the Dock):

1) I finally figured out why the Cmd-Tab H and Cmd-Tab Q wouldn't hide and quit selected applications when cycling through the Dock. It's because I'm on a dvorak keyboard -- for some reason they hard-coded the location of the keys, so I'm forced to use Cmd-Tab ' to quit an app and Cmd-Tab D to hide it. Ugh. Hopefully Apple fixes that.

2) I have 5 Docklings in the left side of my Dock, in this order: Classic?, Vanity Dockling (shows uptime), SETIdockling (not 2.0 which is a DUMB app), SlashDock, and MacReporter. My problem is that for some reason when I start up, SlashDock and MacReporter take a hell of a long time to activate. They often have their generic Dockling icons on them until like 15 or so minutes later, or until I restart the Dock. It's like it takes a long time to load, or something. I was having the same problem with Classic? until I moved it to the front of the pack, and now it's having no problems. Anyone seen this effect with their Dock?

3) Anybody with the latest OmniWeb sneaky peeks (sp38 or sp39)... has OmniWeb been crashing often when you tell it to quit? Mine has, and it's really annoying... it's just like that Quicktime movie bug with Apple's website (which, incidentally, I think is still there).

4) LimeWire X 2.1.3 STILL won't install!! Will someone PLEASE stuff their LimeWire folder (NOT the installer) and send it to simX@mac.com? That would be greatly appreciated.

Other than that, OS X has been pretty solid for me... I'm still pissed that my mom's iBook can run faster than my cube, though... I downloaded LimeWire 2.1.3 on her machine, and it wasn't nearly as slow as it was on mine? Needless to say, it actually INSTALLED on hers, which it still doesn't on mine (see #4 above).
