Something interesting about Apple's shipping

Mac Metal Head
So I ordered a G5 and an AirPort. The airport came about a week earlier than the G5 through UPS. They required A signature to drop it off and didn't get one until the third try. The G5 on the other hand, came via FedEx. No sig required, they just left it on the door step in plain view.

I don't get it, I think they would put more precaution on the 2000 dollar piece of hardware over the 60 dollar piece.

Oh well.

it's a G5!!! Why weren't you on the doorstep just waiting for it? it's called a sick day, hello! ;)

lol

Hahaha, I'm glad took the day off when my iMac G5 arrived via FedEx.

IT COULD HAVE WALKED AWAY ON ITS OWN AND THEN I WOULD HAVE HAD TO SUE

I would have waited at home for it but I had exams. Plus, I didn't think that they would have possibly left it outside after the way things with the AirPort were handled.

Maybe the drivers should be educated.

When given the parcel to deliver, a following note should be tattooed on the Driver's hands;
"Very, VERY Important and Expensive Mac. Do not leave outside incase of the darn thing picking up wheels and driving off."
