Songs brought in iTunes: burn 7 times?

I don't get how this works.

From the help file:
If the playlist contains songs purchased from the iTunes Store, you can burn the playlist to a CD up to seven times.

So... do you just make a new playlist after you have burnt 7 times? Or does every song aware of how many times it has been played?

Nope, just make a new playlist. It it basically a way to prevent you burning 100s of CDs without a bit of inconvenience.

Ohh I see that's good... it is not like I'll gotta burn 100 CDs... I could just save a CD image for that!!!
