Sound Check software

The Apple "Sound Check" doesn't work. I still have to change the volume when I come to certain songs being played on my iPod Click-Wheel (4th Gen).

Can anyone recommend 3rd party "Sound Check" software which will actually change each songs individual volume setting so that every song is basically played at the same level in decibels?

MacMP3Gain it is freeware and you can do one playlist or you whole iTunes library you even keep it from cliping. do a google on it like I said works great and it a small downmload.
