I've just bought an analogue to digital converter - 'Director's Cut SCART' by Miglia. It connects to my G4 by firewire and to my VCR by SCART. I can convert analogue to digital no problem but when i try to play back there is no sound. If i turn off Director's Cut the playback with sound is fine but switching the converter on and off all the time is not a solution i'm happy with.
I am using iMovie 3. Does anyone know if there is a conflict with Director's Cut SCART? I don't know if there is a problem with my new digital converter or if it's because i'm using iMovie 3.
