Wow...
Recently, I placed SpamCop's real-time spam blocker data to my sendmail server... the first week, we eliminated 1500 spam messages from being delivered, and last week, 3500 spam messages. These are not filtered based upon content, but based upon actual spam's in progress... as notified by users of SpamCOP.
It works really well, and have yet to see or hear of it blocking legit email like filters that scan for content will occasionally do.
Im just a small fry, imagine how many spam messages the big boys get. Of course, I still got about 3-5 spam messages a day into my account, but nothing like I or others had been getting.
