Starting xgterm in X11

Greetings -- I have a new Mac Pro and installed the latest version of X11 from XQuartz. For some reason, and I don't know why, I cannot start an xgterm from within the X11 xterm window. I can do this on other Mac's that I have, but not this new machine..and I'm not sure why.

Also, how does one reset the su password?

Any reason you're not using the X11 that's already provided to you by Apple? It's much easier to have X11 apps run through there than through XQuartz.

Also, you don't want to enable root. Use the sudo command instead.
