Greetings!
I'm having an issue with my Quicksilver 1G DP that just popped up and I can't seem to solve it.
Every morning I hit the button to start up and though the light comes on and I hear the chime, nothing else happens. To date, I've tried disconnecting all peripherals, zapping the PRAM, fsck etc. and repairing permissions, but nothing has helped. Usually what I have to wind up doing is to either physically pulling the plug or opening the case and hittigng the switch on the motherboard and starting over. Usually the fourth or fifth try it'll finally work. If I try to restart and shutting down booting back up is fine. But after it sits overnight, it simply will not boot up in the morning on the first try.
Any ideas?
OS X 10.2, 10.1.5, 9.2.2 - 3 Drives, 2 80GB, 1 45GB, all IBM (none from Hungary) - 1GB Ram
Externals
USB
Asante hub, Imation Superdrive, Belkin Compact Flash Card Reader
SCSI
Sony Spressa CD RW, Jaz Drive (ID numbers checked)
Ethernet into local network for internet access (don't use the modem)
