Startup Problem

After installing and removing an anti-virus program (intego) I am left with pop ups when I boot up my macbook. They look like windows showing my hard drive and connections. I have no idea how to get rid of these on a mac and they are annoying. Any ideas?

Was the uninstall done with an uninstaller or manually?
Can you take a screenshot of the error messages?

Okay pop ups may be the wrong term to use for these. They are windows that open on login. I have tried removing this program several ways, manually, with the uninstaller, and with a software called apptrap. I tried rooting it out of the Login Menu Items and System Preferences but Intego Virus Barrier 5 is still in my computer like some nasty malware.

Are those the windows that appear at boot? They look like just Finder windows.. delete (your home folder)/Library/Preferences > a file called com.apple.finder.plist, and log back in. It could be a stuck Finder preference.
If you search for anything with name intego with Spotlight, do you get any results in your system?
