Does anybody know of a way one can download streaming quicktime movies? I mean this so that when one downloads it, it is able to be watched without connnecting to the internet. Is this possible?

A little off the subject, but does anybody think that doing drugs would effect one's ability with Cocoa programming? All feed back is welcome and appreciated...

well, what drugs are you talking about? the range of effects and potential influences is vast. please be more specific. :cool:
 
well being last night was new years eve, i got drunk and high and I threw up twice. I felt like crap runover twice. Most of the time i smoke weed and it gives me alot of problems, alot of times I can't remember easy stuff to remember.

well the alcohol will definitly impair your abilities to do much more than be stupid when used in excess. one oz. would probably just loosen up the creative juices.
the effects of pot are quite varied. potency and type of weed are important to consider here. provided you weren't smokin the killer kind bud, then you could probably do a pretty good job of doing anything you are accustomed to doing. so how familiar you are with programming would be another important variable. even at that you can figure you probably wouldn't be able to do your best job while stoned. of course for some people it increase their ability to focus on one thing and be oblivious to everything else. If you are one of these people then you might experience brief moments of concetrated success. however the ablilty to maintain that focus over long periods of time would be difficult indeed.
and of course all the munchies you are going to spill on your keyboard aren't helpful either.:D

best to leave your recreation to appropriate times and your work to another time.

btw - what was a godly member doing partaking of the devil's weed?:p
 
oh, you should know that it took me so long to get back to you because i forgot where i put this thread and i haven't touched the stuff in almost 5 years.:cool:
