Well, in a situation like that, first I'll try restarting, but you already did that, so I'd probably unplug it. Failing that,

Don't know about the BIOS password, but on Win98 you can just restart and select cancel when prompted for a password. It lets you right in... I do it at work all the time.

I don't know why they even bother asking for a password... Kinda stupid if you ask me.

got it, with xoot's help.

removed the CMOS battery, that fixed the password problem.

For sh*t's and giggles, installed netbus so i can mess w/ him when he gets back (my roommate) lol. it's gonna be good!

I am rarely in Herve's Bar & Grill. But I find my work assignment terribly boring today, so I've surfing this board to procrastinate! :D

Not to mention I've had way tooooooooo much caffeine in my system, gotta work off the energy via typing! HAHA! ;)

Me too. I rarely check the Mac News forums anymore. Everything there eventually makes it into the Bar & Grill or into IRC.
