Internet Explorer has an annoying habit of checking subscriptions. Mac online tech support suggests a process of unsubscribing to subscriptions in favorites, but as far as I can tell, I don't have any. I'd like to just turn the subscription monitor off, but there doesn't seem to be an option for that in preferences. I've tried selecting manual and tried to have it automatically check every
