Suitcase Issues

Hey,
Having problems with X11 Suitcase. At the printshop I work at we are switching over very slowly to OSX. There are getting to be some serious issues with what appears to be Suitcase. Fonts within job files (Quark, etc) look corrupted on screen (lines of type will display as percent symbols...etc), but will actually print fine. This becomes a problem when we have to go back to make changes, we don't know what's what. This may be OSX issues, but the other problem is Suitcase loads a copy of all the fonts you open into the system fonts. We will eventually remove these fonts from suitcase and if we want to bring them back in it says there is a closed version already on the system and we can't seem to open them again. Removing them manually from the system font folder is dangerous to say the least. Is there anyway to prevent Suitcase from making copies in the system. Can't it work the way version 8 did where it just opens and closes sets of fonts wherever they sit?
