I'm running MacBook Pro, Mac OSx 10.6.1 and was using CrossOver but that began to have problems. So I switched to VirtualBox which worked great for a while. But then after one of the updates it just stopped working. Now when I attempt to run it I get the first screen and a spinning beach ball. That's all, it never changes from that screen.
Any suggestions. I've uninstalled reinstalled, with no success. I've rebuilt permissions. I've attempted the latest version but also no success.
I should mention that when I finally go to force quit VirtualBox, it reports that it's not responding.
I believe that something at the unix level needs to be corrected or updated. Somehow I think the last upgrade to VB removed something that it now is not finding.
