I have a G4 1.33 Aluminum Powerbook with an LG 4163B drive in an external shell. I have been burning DVD's with no problem. I tried putting a blank CDR in and the drive will not recognize ANY blank CDRs. It will recognize/read Audio & Data CDs, DVDs and Blank DVDs, but no blank CDRs.
Any reason why this would happen? I have not updated the firmware since I installed this writer in the shell for my mac and I can't be positive if I've burned any blank CDrs in the drive since I installed it in the ext. case for the mac, although something tells me I have.
Can you provide any suggestions?
