Since I am severely bandwidth-challenged, but have two phone lines I very much could use a multilink PPP connection.
I have explored Mac OS X 10.1 man page 'pppd' and found the following configuration switch described:
mp Enables the use of PPP multilink;
this is an alias for the `multilink'
option. This option is currently
only available under Linux.
Can someone please confirm that this is linux-only ?
If not, where can find more information about running more than one pppd at a time and binding them together?
If we pretend that it is do-able, what would I need to do on the command line to launch these daemons? The description in the pppd man pages quickly got over my head. Is there a unix-savvy type that might be willing to help me experiment?
If it is linux-only, how do I go about convincing someone to implement it in OS X?
