Sweden's great new public service

That's a riot! Gonna have to send that link to some fire/ems guys I used to work with...tell them they need to provide something similar as a 'community service enhancement'. <G>
 
Well Zammy-Sam you could do something in the meantime while you wait for them to arrive, ever heard of foreplay?;) This sounds like the stories of Sweden I've heard,cradle to the grave social welfare state as an example.I mean there is just so much "looking out for your neighbor"a nation can do!

Sorry to rain on your parade guys, but this isn't really "public service", and it's not part of "the welfare state". It's a part of a public awareness campaign that a swedish NGO is running from june 4th to 25th. So, it's really just a publicity stunt in effect for three weeks. As such it seems to be really effective though, at least in terms of media coverage.

It remains to be seen though if it has the intended effect of getting more young people to protect themselves against sexually transmitted diseases and unplanned or unwanted pregnancies.

depends what you are going to do.. but they don't like to waste time in north, i'm afraid in 30 minutes they will get supplies for .. the next round .. ::sleepy:: (keep the reserve!)

I do have to say, when you think about it, that if you HAD 30 minutes advance notice that you were going to NEED condoms, you'd probably have enough time to run to the drug store...

no no .. please go on. i won't mind. i just missread the word "paperwork" isntead of ropework so probably i should get something else to do that would have nothing to do with macs or paper .. and no, writing a novel doesn't seem to be what i'd probably better do either.
 
scruffy, what makes you say that? I don't see any edited posts here, or am I missing something?
